Meet Chelse Leigh
My journey as an artist began abruptly in college when I had to take an art class to satisfy an art credit for my first degree. Before, I had never thought of myself as an artist. The moment we stepped into acrylic painting my love for art exploded. I was drawn to the beauty of colors, the feel of the canvas, and the overwhelming satisfaction after finishing a painting. I started with landscapes and over the last several years have expanded my abilities to abstracts. Using a magnitude of dynamic colors and emotion I bring what I am feeling or thinking and transfer it to the canvas.

Where Art Begins
My children watch in awe as they admire the bright and vibrant colors I work with. They even have their own mini studio next to mine and together we enjoy expressing our creativity. I love painting for myself, my audience, and community. A percentage of profits sold from each painting goes back into the community through donations made to nonprofit organizations and by serving the underprivileged and underserved. I have combined two things I love into one, painting and helping people!
Art Journeys
From Concept to Creation
My art captures the beauty of colors. Once the first stroke of paint goes onto the canvas I can feel the excitement through my fingertips as I create an intrinsic painting. My goal for each painting is to capture not only the eyes of the beholder but the mind and heart too. I don’t want someone to just glance at my painting, I want them to be intrigued and get lost in time as they drift off in the painting. Each painting has an emotion engraved throughout it, just like a theme.
